CLOSED BREATHWORK GROUP
Dates: 17th October, 7th November, 5th December and 9th January. PLEASE NOTE: This is a 4-session block – you will need to book all four dates together (individual dates can’t be booked separately).
Times: Fridays 2.30-5pm
Venue: Findhorn Village Centre, IV36 3YR
Cost for all 4 sessions: Sliding scale £200 - £240 depending on income. One concessionary place £165 by application. All 4 sessions must be paid for in advance. A non-refundable deposit of £50 secures your place. Balance to be paid by 3rd September.
Group size: Maximum of 8 people
Prerequisite for joining: You must commit to all 4 sessions. You need to have done at least one group breathwork session or 1:1 session with me. This will be a closed group that meets as the days begin to shorten, goes through to the Solstice and
emerges into the new year. A difficult time of the year for many (I know it often is for myself) but rather
than contract with the cold and dark, let’s soften into what it offers...
an opportunity to take some time to slow down and turn inwards,
lean into the support and safety of a regular, committed group
and use the transformative power of the breath,
to release emotional blocks, reconnect with the wisdom of your inner world and restore the body-mind
balance.
How Will a Closed Group Be Different from the Open Sessions?
It will be longer – 2.5 hours rather than 2 hours. As all of the participants will have already done at least one breathwork session with me before, I will not need to spend time explaining the technique/benefits etc and this will mean there is longer for the breathwork itself, as well as the sharings and the movement session. There will be an opportunity to journal or draw after the breathwork to support integration (basic art materials will be supplied and you are welcome to bring your own). In the closing circle, we will coorie in to share experiences and herbal tea will be served.
What Are the Benefits of a Closed Group
The consistency of a closed group helps foster deeper connections and trust among the members and this, in turn, provides more safety to go deeper in the breathwork practice as well as in the verbal sharings. Setting an intention or working with a particular issue or theme in your life over a series of sessions can allow a deeper, therapeutic process to unfold.
What To Expect in Each Session

Opening meditation and sharing (this can involve setting an intention for the session, identifying an issue you would like support with or simply exploring what you are experiencing in your life at present)

Movement/dance session to warm up the body

60-75 minute breathwork

Opportunity to journal and/or draw after the breathwork session

Sharing of breathwork journey with tea provided
NB: One of the sessions may have a theme e.g Working With Your Inner Child depending on the group needs/interests.
